RyanAir Bases in Europe
England (Liverpool, Londong), Scotland, Portugal, Spain, France,
Italy, Stockholm, Warsaw, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome and Brussels
to name but a few.
Shannon International Airport is closest to Limerick. This gives you
immediate access to our Golf course in County Limerick. You are also
within one hour of County Kerry and Tralee and Killarney are within 2
hours driving time. You can base yourself in any part of the Shannon
Region and still be close to the golf course thanks to recent
improvements in our national infrastructure. You can stay in any of the
fantastic hotels, bed and breakfasts or other self catering
accommodation options or why not try an equestrian holiday or staying
on a boat in Killaloe.
Kerry Airport, Farranfore, is only 15 minutes from Killarney and the
Ring of Kerry and 20 minutes from Tralee. Tralee and Killareny are both
close to Cork, Dingle, Bantry, Ballybunion, Ballyheigue and Limerick.
Cork Airport Is close to Cork, and naturally Kerry, Waterford and
Limerick (all under two hours by car). There are also train services
between Limerick, Cork, Killarney, Tralee, Ennis and Dublin and buses
connect Shannon to Limerick, Ennis and Galway and run between all
cities and towns.
Dublin Airport is the biggest and busiest airport in Ireland. From
Dublin Airport, bus links connect travellers from the airport with the
train stations in Dublin city. From stations like Heuston, passengers
can travel to Limerick by train or nationwide via bus or car.
DIRECTIONS FROM SHANNON AIRPORT:
Coming out of Shannon, you will continue straight across the roundabout onto a dual carriageway. At the next roundabout take the right hand exit for Shannon Town centre continue to the next roundabout and take the first exit. Follow the road to another large roundabout and take the right hand exit, follow signs for Sixmilebridge. When you enter Sixmilebridge, turn left at the crossroads. Take the R462 for Kilmurry and Kilkishen in the Tulla direction. Then turn right onto the R352 for Tuamgraney and Scariff. Go past Scariff and through Mountshannon. As you approach Whitegate from this direction, you turn right just before the village at the signpost for Shannon Castle Line. At the Nightingale Pub take the second turn right - also signposted, Continue down this road for about 3km, past Dromann harbour.
Our marina at Williamstown is 300 metres from this harbour on the right.
This journey should take approximately 1 hour.
